This is an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with strong clinical reasoning skills and who enjoys a fast paced environment.
Our integrated teams provide urgent assessment & brief intervention to ensure a patient is safe in their own home.
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist functional assessments when a patient finds themselves unsafe at home due to medical or physical deterioration.
* Offer adaptive equipment recommendations and brief OT in the home.
* Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Social Workers, Pharmacists, Doctors, Physiotherapists, HCA's and OTA's.
* Deliver timely, evidence based information to patients and carers.
Qualifications
* Strong clinical reasoning skills and effective communication.
* Appetite to work in a fast paced environment.
* Competent and strong Occupational Therapist experience.

Induction & Probation
All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and allocation of equipment. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
This post will be subject to a probationary period.
High Cost Area Supplement
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,714 and a maximum payment of £5,941 per annum, pro rata for part time).
