Position Title: VNA Forklift Operator
Location: Coventry, CV2.
Job Type: Temporary On-Going
Salary: £17.30 per hour (OT rate £19.97 paid after 37.5 hours)
Shift: Nights
Days Of Work: Monday-Friday
Hours of work: 22:00-06:00 (37.5 hours)
Start Date: Monday 06/10/25.
Overview
We are seeking multiple skilled and safety-conscious VNA Forklift Operators to join our Client's warehouse night shift team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating Very Narrow Aisle forklifts in high-density storage environments and will play a key role in ensuring efficient inventory movement, storage, and retrieval.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate VNA forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve goods in narrow aisle racking systems.
* Safely load and unload pallets from high-level storage locations.
* Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance needs.
* Accurately follow pick lists and inventory management systems.
* Maintain clean and organised work areas in accordance with health and safety standards.
* Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to meet daily operational targets.
* Assist with stock counts, audits, and inventory reconciliation as required.
Requirements
* Valid in-date VNA forklift license or certification.
* VNA Licence must be accredited by either of the following: ABA/AITT/RTITB/ITSSAR.
* Minimum 6 months recent experience operating VNA forklifts.
* Right to Work in the UK.
* Live Local to Coventry CV2, or have own transport.
* Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
* Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Basic computer literacy (for inventory systems and scanning equipment).
* Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and work at heights.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
* Additional forklift certifications would be beneficial (e.g. Reach Truck, PPT).
* Familiarity with lean warehouse practices and continuous improvement.
