Full-time, permanent (35 hours per week)
Leylands Estate, Derby (Eborn House)
Rota including on-call duties.
You will be based on-site at Eborn House, Leylands Estate in Derby, providing intensive housing management and tenancy support to 122 residents. Your work will enable residents to maintain independence while living in a safe, secure and supportive environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering keyworker support through planned and responsive visits
* Assessing residents’ health, safety and wellbeing needs
* Providing practical support such as budgeting, managing finances and accessing benefits
* Liaising with Adult Social Care, health professionals and other services to ensure effective safeguarding
* Working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team of three.
You will take a solution-focused approach, working with residents to develop and achieve agreed action plans that support their housing and wellbeing needs.
You will also support the Senior Housing Assistant with:
* Processing housing applications
* Matching applicants to properties
* Coordinating move-ins and helping new residents settle into their homes.
Your role will help ensure residents’ homes are places that inspire hope, promote health, and create happiness within their community.
We’re looking for someone with experience or transferable skills in supporting older and/or disabled people in a housing or care setting.
You will be:
* Calm, compassionate and approachable
* Able to balance empathy with a firm but fair approach
* Flexible, with the ability to work a rota (typically 9am–5pm, Monday to Sunday)
* Willing to take part in the out-of-hours on-call rota (1 week in 6, with additional pay).
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check in line with our Safeguarding Adults policies and procedures.
