A position has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our Garden maintenance department as Garden Maintenance Administrator. With this role you will be assisting the Garden Maintenance Manager and Project Coordinator in the day to day running of the team and liaising with clients as well as supporting the wider company. Key responsibilities: Liaising and working closely with the Garden Maintenance Manager and Project Coordinator. Keeping in regular contact with the gardeners, keeping them fully informed and resolving issues as they arise. Scheduling gardeners’ visits and ensuring they have appropriate equipment for the job. Liaising with clients and gardeners, including changes that may occur. Managing data to keep systems fully up to date such as timesheets, instructions for future bookings, sundries used, etc. Ordering new equipment where appropriate. Invoicing and reconciliation of costs against diary sheets. Co-ordinating departmental meetings and training meetings. General office duties and answering telephones. The ideal candidate will: Be very organised. Have excellent computer skills and attention to detail. Be able to communicate well (email, telephone, WhatsApp and face -to -face). Be practical and able to problem solve. Have a friendly and helpful manner. Have a full UK driving licence due to our remote location. Desirable: Have a passion for the environment & an interest in plants and gardens.
