Pickles Recruitment is launching a brand-new temporary commercial desk – think office legends, receptionists, admin whizzes, and customer service pros. We’re after a Recruitment Consultant with sales swagger and proven experience running a busy commercial temp desk to take the reins.
This isn’t a cushy “inherit someone’s little black book” gig – you’ll be building and growing this desk from scratch, so you’ll need to love sales calls, client visits, and the thrill of filling roles at breakneck speed.
What You’ll Be Doing (aka Your New Circus Act):

Running your own commercial temp desk – full 360 recruitment
*
Winning new business (sales calls, client meetings – no cold-calling robots, just real conversations)
*
Registering, interviewing, and maintaining a pool of top-tier temps
*
Matching the right candidates to the right jobs faster than the competition
*
Handling compliance, onboarding, and payroll with minimal drama
*
Basically being everyone’s lifesaver when their receptionist calls in sick at 8am
Who We’re After:

Sales experience – essential. You’ll be winning and growing your own client base.
*
Proven track record running a commercial temp desk (if you’ve only done perms or resourcing, this isn’t for you).
*
A natural people person who can build rapport over the phone, on visits, and in the office.
*
Organised, quick-thinking, and able to thrive under pressure.

Available to start ASAP.
