Role overview:
We are seeking a candidate to ensure that deliveries are booked in, taking into accountoperational activities, whilst ensuring that the incoming stock flow is evenly distributed across the 24/7 operation. This also involves liaising with internal and external customers to ensure that this is achieved.
Responsibilities:
· To work with both internal and external customers ensuring they have the relevant information needed to book in the inbound volumes in line with requirements
· To take a daily/weekly/monthly view of the current bookings and ensure that other supplier bookings are slotted into the plan ensuring a smooth flow of stock
· To prepare daily and ad hoc reports as required
· To assistin the resolution and communication of any Supplier issues
· To work as part of the admin team and support the team goals and objectives
· To liaise with Merchandising team to support in the resolution of any problem orders ensuring these are carried through to a conclusion
· To escalate any significant issues to the Booking in Supervisor
· To assistin the recording of any Supplier non-compliance where necessary
Skills and Experience:
Highly motivated, able to work under pressure and to deadlines
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
· Previous administration experience is desirable
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
· Working knowledge of Shogun
· High level of attention to detail with superb administrative and organisational ability
· Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative and problem solve.
