About the Role: As an MFL Teacher specialising in Spanish, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Spanish lessons across all secondary year groups. You will inspire students to develop their language skills, cultural awareness, and confidence in using Spanish in a variety of contexts. Working within a supportive department, you will contribute to the school's commitment to excellence in language education. Key Responsibilities: Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging Spanish lessons in accordance with curriculum standards. Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing regular feedback and support. Differentiating lessons to cater for diverse learning needs and abilities. Promoting a love for languages and fostering an inclusive learning environment. Contributing to department planning and development initiatives. Upholding high standards of behaviour and classroom management. Participating in school events and language enrichment activities. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Proven experience teaching Spanish to secondary school students. Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for language education. Ability to motivate and inspire learners of all abilities. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment. Desirable: Experience with GCSE and A-Level Spanish teaching. Additional language skills or qualifications.
