This MSP has an excellent reputation in the education sector, having been established for over 20 years working across the North West. They currently work with over 100 primary schools in the North West, with a strong focus on schools in Manchester and Liverpool and, due to recent growth, they are looking to add an IT Engineer to their team based in Liverpool. Your new role
Reporting to the IT Service Director, you will be joining an established team of engineers, all with themon goal of providing the highest level of IT support to schools and staff in the Liverpool area. This is a mobile role where you will be required to travel to different sites to provide IT support, working with teaching staff around the use of IT equipment in the classroom. From a support perspective, you will support with hardware, software and bespoke educational technologies such as interactive whiteboards, learning from others and therefore developing your own knowledge. This is an exciting role for an IT Technician or IT Engineer who has knowledge of first line support to join a weing team and continue developing your skills.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess IT experience and will ideally have experience working in the education sector providing face-to-face support to end users with a knowledge of themon issues which arise from an IT perspective in an educational setting. Experience supporting with hardware and software is essential, as well as a strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365. Excellentmunication skills and strong relationship-building skills are also required as you will be working face to face with end users. Please note, as this is a mobile role based in Liverpool, you must have your own vehicle and have a valid UK driving licence.
