Business Development Manager – Electro-Mechanical – South/South West
Hampshire or Buckinghamshire Office – 2 days per week, 3 days per week minimum Customer visits.
Hours: 8:30 – 17:00
Negotiable DOE plus Bonus and Commission scheme and company car.
1to1 Group are currently recruiting for a Key Account Manager to join our clients fifteen strong sales team. The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for the development of sales for in the South and South West and Home counties.
The role is office based either at head office in Buckinghamshire or the factory in Winchester Hampshire with an expectation of a minimum of 3 days of customer visits per week. They are a family orientated business and are flexible with work from home should emergency child care needs etc arises.
You will have experience in business-to-business sales, ideally with a technical background based around electromechanical products and have excellent communications skills to build long term business relationships.
The Responsibilities:
·Account management of 100+ key customers within the territory.
·Develop and create new business opportunities (NBO).
·Maintain and develop good customer relationships with a clear understanding of assigned projects.
·Preparation of sales strategies and value propositions.
·Working within a team you will be expected to follow up all potential sales leads.
·Ensuring regular customer visits to a) maintain a high level of customer service b) be aware of customers new designs and products.
·Forecasting sales revenues for the accountable territory.
·Achieve or surpass targeted sales levels in the defined territory according to the sales plan and in association with the sales manager.
Skills:
·B2B Sales and Account Management
·Electro-Mechanical, Electro-Components or Electronics Distribution Background.
·Proven experience creating new business opportunities
·Experience achieving or exceeding sales targets
