Job Title: Family Solicitor
PQE Required: 3+
Location: North Yorkshire
Salary: £40,000+ (DOE)
Responsibilities
* Manage your own varied caseload of private family matters including divorce, financial remedy, private children work and associated matrimonial issues.
* Depending on experience, also be involved in more complex financial cases and high-conflict children matters.
* Play an active role in maintaining and developing client relationships and contribute to business development and networking initiatives.
* Contribute to the ongoing growth of the department and may provide supervision or mentoring to more junior colleagues where appropriate.
Candidate
* Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years’ PQE in family law and a strong technical understanding of private family matters.
* Confident managing own caseload independently and running files from instruction through to conclusion.
* Excellent client care skills, and ability to handle sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism.
* Strong organisational skills and commercial awareness; proactive and positive approach to team collaboration.
* Ambitious, motivated and keen to progress career within a firm that values long term development.
