Creative Support is seeking a warm and caring Waking Night Support Worker to join our friendly Extra Care team at Station View, Barrow-in-Furness. This service provides quality care to 31 residents, aged 55 and above, with needs including Dementia, learning disabilities, and physical disabilities. The service comprises 41 self-contained flats, with residents requiring varying levels of support, from prompting medication to hoisting.
At Station View, no two days are the same. We support residents in engaging in activities like movie nights, gardening, day trips, and meals out.
Your Role Will Include
* Providing consistent, respectful personal care, medication administration, manual handling, and domestic tasks.
* Building warm, trusting relationships with residents to enhance their well-being.
* Encouraging participation in social activities within and outside the home.
* Working full-time shifts from 22:00 to 08:00.
We are looking for passionate Waking Night Support Workers with experience in care, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to person-centred support. Previous care experience is essential.
Station View is conveniently located in Barrow-in-Furness, with excellent transport links and local amenities.
