Contract: Part-Time, Fixed Term (until 19th December 2025)
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are looking for a dedicated and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in a vibrant secondary school in Preston.
The Role:
* Support students with a range of special educational needs, both in and out of the classroom.
* Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to ensure tailored support is delivered.
* Assist in creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
* Help students develop their academic, social, and emotional skills.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in a school or similar setting).
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient attitude.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A genuine desire to help students reach their full potential.
Hours & Pay:
* Part-Time (exact hours negotiable, typically mornings or within school hours)
* Competitive hourly rate, based on experience and qualifications.
