We are looking for a qualified solicitor to join our team as either a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in our Clinical Legal Education team. One role is based at our Moorgate campus while the other can be located at any of The University of Law campuses. The position operates on a 5‑over‑7 day working pattern, which may include evenings and weekends to support our flexible delivery model.
Reporting into the Academic Management Team, you will provide tuition across the University of Law course portfolio, including the LLM Bar Pro Bono, QWE, Delegates from the commercial sectors, LPC, SQE, BPC, Law Conversion Programmes (PGDL and MAL), LLM in Legal Practice, LLB, Professional Skills Course/Professional Development, Academic Masters courses and/or other University courses to the best possible standard. The role may also involve conducting Higher Rights of Audience approved assessments.

* Deliver high quality teaching and support for learning, including communication with other academics for continuous improvement of teaching and student support
* Identify the need for developing content, structure and assessment within modules with colleagues and make proposals on how this should be achieved
* Contribute to effective design and review of inclusive learning. Maintain quality standards and regulations in curricular design
* Routinely communicate complex and conceptual ideas to those with limited knowledge and understanding as well as to peers using high level skills
* Act as a module tutor, academic coach and sign‑post students on pastoral aspects during their learning journey

Requirements for Lecturer Positions
* Undergraduate degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
* Fellowship of Advance HE (HEA) or equivalent or willingness to work towards
* Relevant teaching qualification or willingness to work towards PGCHE
* If you do not currently hold this, you will enrol into the programme (delivered and financially supported by the University), usually within 12 months of passing probation. Successful completion/qualification is essential to this role
Requirements for Senior Lecturer Positions
* Postgraduate qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject
* Fellowship of Advance HE (HEA)
* Relevant teaching qualification
