🕘 Full-time: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, On site 5 days
⏳Temporary Assignment via Brook Street until December 2025, with potential extension

Brook Street is recruiting on behalf of HMPPS Probation Service for a Probation Case Administrator to provide essential administrative support. This role ensures smooth operation of probation services and supports staff and people on probation through efficient processes, accurate record-keeping, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain accurate records of people on probation and victims on approved databases
2. Support offender management, interventions, and external agency communications
3. Prepare, collate, and manage case files and management information
4. Provide reception and telephone support, acting as a first point of contact where required
5. Organise meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action points
6. Administer petty cash/vouchers and assist with enforcement actions
7. Undertake Visor administration and other database tasks
8. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and safeguarding policies
9. Cover within the unit or other units as required
Key Skills & Requirements
10. Strong customer service and administrative skills, including experience covering reception or front-line duties
11. Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to manage challenging interactions
12. IT confident, including MS Word, basic Excel, and database management
13. Ability to work independently, use initiative, and manage multiple tasks
14. Basic numeric skills
