Position: Early Years Practitioner Location: Selly Oak Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (Varying Shift Patterns) As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting the development, care, and education of children aged 0-5 within a warm and nurturing environment. You will work closely with other staff members to deliver high-quality early years education, ensuring children are safe, happy, and engaged in meaningful activities that promote learning and development. Supporting the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities that stimulate learning and development. Providing a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for children. Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Observing and assessing children's progress and contributing to their development records. Ensuring compliance with OFSTED standards and nursery policies. Promoting children's independence and social skills. Assisting with daily routines, including mealtimes, naps, and play. Candidate Requirements: Early Years Qualification: A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, or equivalent) is essential. Experience working within a nursery setting is essential. A genuine passion for early childhood development. Good communication and teamwork skills.
