We are recruiting experienced TIG Welders to join a well-established manufacturing environment on a full-time, permanent basis. This role offers stable hours, long-term career prospects, and a strong benefits package.
Tig Welder Key Responsibilities
TIG welding, primarily working with aluminium
Welding to approved procedures and regulatory standards
Reading and working to Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS)
Carrying out non-welding tasks such as forming, grinding, and finishing
Operating overhead cranes where required
Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping
About You - The Tig Welder
Proven TIG welding experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
Strong understanding of fabrication processes
Ability to work accurately to specifications and quality standards
Experience with MIG welding is advantageous
Experience working with pressure-related components is beneficial
Relevant inspection or welding qualifications (e.g. Dye Penetrant, CSWIP, PCN2) are desirable but not essential
