We are seeking experienced Butchers to manage our Butchery Departments with entrepreneurial spirit. This role involves working closely with customers to develop their businesses, understanding local markets, and providing excellent service.
This position offers the flexibility to operate a butchery business without financial risk. Ideal candidates will possess extensive product knowledge of all meat types, be self-motivated, and eager to succeed.
Responsibilities include maintaining high standards in stock management, food safety procedures (including record keeping), managing meat displays, staff morale, and customer satisfaction.
You will collaborate with the Store Manager to create a business plan aimed at increasing sales and profitability of your department.
Key duties involve greeting customers, offering advice, processing orders, managing stock levels and stocktaking, leading a small team (including scheduling), meat cutting, cleaning tools and equipment, coordinating deliveries, and waste control.
