We are working on an opportunity for a Data Privacy Operations Manager to join one of our longest standing clients. This role will report into Global Chief Privacy Officer.

What will the role involve?
4. Demonstrable privacy experience operating in a sophisticated enterprise with global operations.
5. Understanding of global privacy requirements and standard methodologies.
6. Managing a team of global team of privacy analysts responsible for assessing PIAs, DPIAs, managing ROPAs, responding to subject rights requests and managing the privacy front door.
7. Fluency translating legal/regulatory requirements into practical privacy controls to ensure compliance and support innovative business, technology and security teams.
8. Experience leading and scaling privacy assurance/operations team and privacy programs, including internal policies, new products, data lifecycle, and employee training.
What skills do they need?
9. The role requires an experienced privacy/compliance professional with demonstrable presence and interpersonal skills sufficient to function successfully in a highly visible and challenging position.
10. Certified privacy professional (e.g. CIPM, CIPT)
11. Demonstrable experience as a privacy professional preferably with a corporation, in the insurance or consulting industries.
12. Detailed knowledge of data protection/privacy requirements, laws and regulations globally in, and experience of providing assurance/operations support relating to information technology service providers and vendors.
