The Gallery restaurant is an elegant, breakfast restaurant and lounge located within the luxurious Hotel Café Royal, a 5-star hotel in the heart of Central London near Piccadilly Circus. We are looking for a dedicated and personable BreakfastWaiter to join our team on a casual basis and provide outstanding service to our discerning clientele during our busiest service.
The Role:
As a Breakfast Waiter, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by offering attentive, personalized service. You will work closely with our team to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.
The Gallery is open for breakfast from 7am to 11am daily and remains open in the afternoon as a lounge. We are looking for team members who are flexible to work early morning shifts, 6am to 2.30pm, throughout the week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, offering recommendations and upselling when appropriate.
* Take orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen team efficiently.
* Serve food and beverages in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring high standards of presentation and service.
* Attend to guest needs promptly and professionally, addressing any special requests or concerns to ensure guest satisfaction.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring tables are set up and cleared efficiently.
* Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth and coordinated service throughout the day.
* Process payments accurately and provide a seamless experience for guests from arrival to departure.
* Stay informed about the menu, daily specials, and any changes to ensure knowledgeable service.
* Uphold the hotels high standards and contribute to a positive and professional working environment.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a waiter in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
* Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Positive and professional attitude with a team-oriented mindset.
* Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
