Candidates applying for the role would be dealing with children with learning difficulties, emotional, behavioural and social difficulties, mental health problems and /or complex needs between the ages of 9 and 17. Candidates applying for this role would ideally have previous experience within the field and a QCF Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
You will be required to work in partnership with the local/placing authorities, parents or carers, and other agencies. The main focus of the job is to support the integration of young people back into their parental homes if appropriate.

Essential requirements
* At least 1-year recent experience in a relevant field.

. Knowledge of Child in Need, Child Protection, and LAC care plans.

· To complete the QCF Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 2 years of employment.
