Information Technology Operations Manager
Location: Hybrid (2 days on site)

Overview:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Operations Manager to join a growing, people-focused insurance brokerage group with offices across the UK.
This role will take ownership of the day-to-day technology operations, supporting business systems, infrastructure, and user environments across multiple regional sites. You’ll be instrumental in driving operational efficiency, maintaining secure, reliable IT services, and supporting ongoing digital transformation initiatives.
The role offers hybrid working (2 days on site) and national travel to various branch locations (all travel expenses covered).
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and optimise IT operations across multiple sites, ensuring system performance, reliability, and user satisfaction.
* Oversee infrastructure, networks, and system maintenance, including updates, security, and backups.
* Provide leadership for IT support functions (helpdesk, remote, and onsite assistance).
* Maintain supplier relationships, service contracts, and licensing agreements.
* Implement and manage IT policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
* Support the integration of new systems and technologies as the business continues to grow.
* Collaborate with business leaders to deliver secure, efficient, and scalable IT solutions.
* Produce operational reports, risk assessments, and improvement plans for senior management.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience managing IT operations within a multi-site or hybrid working environment.
* Strong technical knowledge of infrastructure management, networking, and cloud-based systems.
* Demonstrable experience with security, data protection, and business continuity planning.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Comfortable travelling between sites as needed (expenses covered).
* Background within insurance, financial services, or professional services is advantageous.
