Behaviour Mentor Location: Nottingham, Sherwood (NG5) Pay: £90 - £100 per day Role Type: Full time, Long term to Permanent | Term - time only Start Date: September 2025 Long Term Futures is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join an alternative provision supporting students in Key Stages 3 and 4 who face behavioural, emotional and social challenges. This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to helping students unable to access mainstream education by providing tailored support and guidance to improve their behaviour and engagement in learning. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 support to students, supporting with behaviour management. Develop and implement personalised behaviour intervention plans tailored to individual needs. Offer emotional and social support, promoting positive behaviour and active engagement in learning. Build strong, trusting relationships with students. Support students in developing social and emotional skills Monitor, evaluate and adjust interventions based on student progress.The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience working with children or young people with challenging behaviour, SEN or SEMH. A background in an educational setting (highly desirable). Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
