Seeking Permanent team members to work either-

Full Time or Part Time,

Fully remote- UK based with a starting salary of £55-60k.

Main duties of the job

The Role

We are hiring Autism Assessors to help us reach and support more patients.

You will:

* Provide remote ASC assessments as part of a team of two clinicians. One practitioner delivers the ADOS-informed assessment while the other undertakes the ADI-R.
* Our model is to work to x1 assessment per day.

We offer wrap-around care in the form of psychoeducation, prescribing, educational navigation, and therapy sessions all under one roof.


Job responsibilities

We are hiring Autism Assessors to help us reach and support more patients.

You will:

* Provide remote ASC assessments as part of a team of two clinicians. One practitioner delivers the ADOS-informed assessment while the other undertakes the ADI-R.
* Our model is to work to x1 assessment per day.
* Use clinical judgement and experience to make treatment decisions using highly developed skills and knowledge regarding management of adults and young people with Autism.
* Exercise autonomous professional responsibility for diagnostic decision making within competence, with supervision from Team Leads.
* Complete risk assessments and review safeguarding needs during ongoing patient care.
* Ensure accurate and timely client records are kept on the clinical platform. Reports should be written professionally and completed within expected timeframes.
* Make recommendations on any additional assessments or interventions required (as appropriate) to the client within the report.
* Work closely with senior leadership team on the further development of the Autism pathways.
* Provide consultation and training to other members of staff to develop skills in this area of expertise.
* Maintain registration with the appropriate governing body (NMC/HCPC,Social Work England).
* Access regular clinical supervision, management supervision, and multi-disciplinary team meetings/case discussions.


Person Specification


Experience

* 12 Months MINIMUM Experience of using ADOS
* AND
* 12 Months MINIMUM Experience of using ADI-R/3DI


Qualifications

* What we are looking for:
* Current NMC, HCPC or Social Work England registration with no restrictions on practice.
* Occupational Therapists, Psychologists or Social Workers with previous experience and knowledge of autonomously assessing and diagnosing Autism.
* Ability to work effectively to manage own caseload.
* Good knowledge of legislation, research and developments relevant to the field of Autism.
* A Minimum of 12 months experience of administering the ADOS and ADI-R diagnostic tools.
* Ability to undertake both ADOS and ADI-R is essential. MDTs are held when required with Team Leads and, where warranted, with input from our psychiatry colleague.
* Can you build rapport quickly with genuine empathy? Are you adaptable and comfortable working in environment of pace and change?
* We can enable you to assess and diagnose more people with our model with the ability to also offer exceptional post diagnostic care.
* Previous Remote Working Experience
