Operating nationwide, our client delivers complex and high-profile projects. With significant ongoing works at Heathrow Airport and a strong pipeline of projects across the UK, the successful candidate must be prepared for site travel when required. The QHSE Manager will lead and develop the business's Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental functions, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and industry standards. This role involves setting strategic direction, maintaining accreditations, promoting a positive safety and quality culture, and driving continual improvement across fabrication workshops and live project sites. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and ISO systems (9001, 14001, 45001). Ensure compliance with UK legislation and carry out regular audits. Oversee risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions. Maintain quality standards across fabrication and site activities. Drive sustainability initiatives and report on QHSE KPIs. Deliver training, inductions, and toolbox talks to staff and subcontractors. Mentor and support teams to promote a positive QHSE culture QHSE Manager Job Requirements NEBOSH National Diploma (or equivalent), with strong health & safety management experience. Proven background in QHSE management within the structural steel, fabrication, or construction industry. Strong working knowledge of UK legislation including CDM 2015, LOLER, PUWER, and Work at Height Regulations. Experience managing ISO management systems (9001, 14001, 45001). Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage teams at all levels. Demonstrable experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of improvement strategies.
