Overview
Jenson Fisher is working as the retained recruitment partner of Kelly Accounting to recruit an Accountant into their team during a period of progressive change for the firm. Working in a well structured environment with the support of both a Senior Accountant and the Director for the practice, the Accountant will cover an extremely varied workload as a key employee of this established firm.
To succeed in this role you may have gained a background working in the profession however you must have prior experience meeting deadlines and at times working under pressure. This role may suit someone with aspirations to complete their professional qualifications (ACCA, CA or equivalent) and the support will be given to achieve this.
In this varied role, you will be tasked with supporting your client base with any services they require within your area. On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities
* Bookkeeping to trial balance stage for your portfolio of clients.
* Assisting with the production of year end accounts on an annual basis.
* Preparing monthly management accounts for clients.
* Assisting the Senior Accountant and Director with additional tasks as required.
* Daily use of Xero and Microsoft Excel alongside various other packages.
Qualifications & Requirements
Gained broad experience in your career to date and are now looking to progress in a fresh working environment where you will be given both autonomy and professional support. The role may suit someone aiming to complete professional qualifications (ACCA, CA or equivalent) with support provided to achieve this.
