About the Role / Role Overview:
As an Early Career Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences that inspire, engage, and challenge your pupils. You will work alongside experienced staff who are committed to nurturing your development and supporting your progression within the profession.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that supports all learners.
* Use assessment strategies to monitor pupil progress and inform planning.
* Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of your pupils.
* Contribute to the wider school community and demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development.
* Maintain high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and classroom management.
Job Requirements:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending certification as an Early Career Teacher.
* Demonstrate a passion for teaching and a commitment to pupil development.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both children and staff.
* Ability to reflect on practice and respond positively to constructive feedback.
* Willingness to engage fully with the school's values, ethos, and wider community.
* Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
