About the role The Risk Management and Excellence Assistant role at DWF is a multifaceted position supporting the Risk and Excellence team in various capacities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the delivery of our risk and excellence agenda across the firm. From assisting with compliance audits to facilitating board reports and presentations, the role offers a diverse range of responsibilities. Support the Risk and Excellence leadership team in preparing Board and Committee reports and presentations as well as assisting the Compliance Audit team in compliance audit administration. Collaborate with the Data Protection Manager in handling Subject Access Requests. Work with the Complaints Manager in managing the end-to-end complaints journey. Maintain up-to-date logging requirements for various activities, including Anti-Bribery and Corruption Gifts register. Coordinate timetables and documentation for formal audits or assessments from external agents. Support financial management tasks, including raising purchase orders and overseeing expense approvals. Act as the main point of contact for arranging and coordinating meetings for team members. Prepare materials for internal and external meetings, including agendas, reports, and presentations. Manage governance aspects for the team and ensure clear documentation and secure data transfer. About you Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to build productive working relationships with internal and external parties. Excellent organizational skills, including multitasking abilities. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all areas of work. Motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently. Demonstrates a proactive work ethic and a commitment to continuous improvement.
