We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic person to become part of our Hotel Reception Team at the exclusive, five-star Culloden Estate & Spa.

The successful candidate can expect to work 35 hours per week (excluding breaks), five shifts out of seven including weekends. Hours vary, but typical shift patterns include 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm, and 12pm to 8pm.
The salary for this full-time position is £23,660 per annum.
If full-time isn't for you, we would also be pleased to offer Reception work on a casual basis from £9 to £12.25 per hour depending on your age.

About the role
To provide a reception service for the hotel to luxury, five-star standards.
* To meet and greet guests at the hotel ensuring an efficient, professional, and friendly check in/out process.
* To be knowledgeable about the facilities and services within the hotel and the amenities and attractions in the locality.
* To be aware of all hotel services and be proactive in the sale of these to guests.
* To check in guests on arrival and check them out at the end of their stay, ensuring that the correct procedures are followed for receiving payment.
* To be responsible for accurate and efficient accounts and guest billing processes.
* To balance bank, cash, foreign currency, and other transactions at the end of your shift.
* To answer telephone calls from guests and external callers in warm, professional manner.
* To assist guests with any reasonable request for hotel services
* To respond to complaints and find the appropriate solution or escalate to the Duty Manager when required.
* To ensure that the reception area is maintained in a clean and tidy manner in accordance with departmental standards.
* To report any technical or maintenance issues.
* To ensure the security of reception and storage areas is maintained.
* To comply with all health, safety, hygiene and licensing policies and procedures.
* To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all staff are treated with respect.
* Any other duties as required by Management
About You
We would love you to have previously worked in a hotel or hospitality environment, but other reception or customer service experience would be welcomed.
