MUST HAVE A MANUAL UK DRIVING LICENCE TO DRIVE THE PERSON YOU ARE SUPPORTING'S CAR, must have held the Licence for at least 1 year and be over 21 yrs due to insurance
Shifts
Week one: Monday 15:30 – 22:00 (sleep-in); Tuesday 7:00 – 10:00; Saturday 14:30 – 22:00 (sleep-in); Sunday 07:00 – 14:30
Week two: Monday 15:30 – 22:00 (sleep-in); Tuesday 7:00 – 10:00; Saturday 14:30 – 22:00 (sleep-in); Sunday 07:00 – 10:30

About the role
We’re looking for genuinely caring, hands-on Female* Support Workers with a passion for enhancing quality of life. You’ll help people gain more independence in daily living, while working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people. Our supported living service is welcoming and friendly, and no two days are the same. You’ll help people develop life skills, assist with light personal care, encourage community access, socialise, and participate in activities. Activities can include day centre, shopping, bowling, disco, and cinema trips.
Responsibilities
* Support individuals to gain independence and develop daily living skills
* Assist with light personal care as required
* Encourage participation in community activities and socialisation
* Record and report changes in behaviour or wellbeing
* Work as part of a team to deliver person-centred plans
Qualifications & Requirements
* Full UK driving licence with at least 1 year of driving experience; must be able to drive the person you are supporting's car (insurance requirements apply)
* Experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice
* Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions and autism
* Resilient, flexible, and composed in approach; capable of lone working as required
* All applicants will be subject to satisfactory DBS checks and references
