We’re now looking for an IT Internal Audit Manager to play a key role in protecting and strengthening our control environment. The role- IT Internal Audit Manager Reporting to the Group Head of Internal Audit, you will provide independent and objective assurance to the Board and Executive Committee over the effectiveness of Markerstudy’s IT controls, governance and risk management. This is a high-impact role that sits at the heart of the business, giving you visibility across all technology operations and the opportunity to influence how technology risk is managed across the Group. You will lead and deliver technology audits across areas such as cyber security, IT governance, operational resilience, disaster recovery and change management, helping ensure we remain secure, compliant and resilient in a fast-moving regulatory environment. What you’ll be doing: Leading end-to-end IT audit engagements, from planning and scoping through to reporting and follow-up Carrying out risk assessments to identify emerging IT and cyber risks and keep the audit plan aligned to business priorities Assessing the design and effectiveness of controls across key technology and resilience domains Producing high-quality audit reports with clear, pragmatic recommendations for senior leaders and the Audit Committee Building strong, trusted relationships with Technology, Risk and Operational Resilience teams Coaching and developing junior auditors and ensuring high standards of delivery Ensuring alignment to frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT and IIA standards Helping to modernise the audit approach through data analytics and automated testing What we’re looking for: You’ll be an experienced IT or technology auditor with a strong background in financial services or a regulated environment, comfortable operating at a senior stakeholder level. You’ll bring: A strong understanding of IT audit, technology risk and control frameworks (e.g. COSO, COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001) Proven experience leading complex technology audits end-to-end The ability to communicate clearly and confidently with senior leaders Experience mentoring or managing junior team members A curious, analytical mindset and a passion for improving how things are done Qualifications such as CISA, CIA, CISM, ACA or ACCA are highly desirable.
