SEN Teaching Assistant
Roles: SEN Teaching Assistants, Support Workers, Personal Care, Autism, Mental Health, and Behaviour Mentors.
Location: Bedworth
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm (day-to-day, short & long term). Required from June and September 2025.
Salary: £90 - £100 a day depending on experience.
Job Description:
* Working in Special Needs Schools around Bedworth, supporting children with challenging behaviours such as Autism, ADHD, SLD, PMLD, and others.
* Providing 1:1 behaviour support, implementing behaviour management strategies, and acting as a positive role model.
* Supporting numeracy and literacy skills through booster sessions.
* De-escalating volatile situations and supporting children aged 5 to 11 years old.
* Mandatory personal care responsibilities.
* Demonstrating resilience and adaptability to manage emotional and behavioural challenges.
The ideal candidate should have experience working with challenging behaviours in educational or support settings. Personal experience with mental health, SLD, PMLD, and Autism is encouraged.
Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS Child and Adult Check – must be on the update service. Assistance with DBS processing available.
* Two references to clear your file with GSL.
* Teaching Assistant Level 2 Qualification or equivalent.
