Role Responsibilities
* Support the Executive Head Chef with running the day to day operations at our Central Kitchen and venues.
* Prepare and cook high-quality dishes for a wide range of events- from banquets, to buffets, to set courses, to finger food.
* Support menu planning, preparation, and execution in line with client expectations and company standards.
* Ensuring all CGC SOPs and guidelines are followed, including COSH and Health and Hygiene standards.
* Safely transport food, equipment, and supplies from our Central Kitchen to various event venues.
* Set up temporary kitchens and work areas at venues, ensuring all service runs smoothly.
* Liaise with event managers and service teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
Person Specification
* Previous chef experience, ideally within outside catering, events, or banqueting.
* Comfortable with commuting to and from venues and events.
* A passionate and dedicated individual, with a great appetite to develop themselves and those around them
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* The ability to work in a fast paced and high-pressure environment
* Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations (Level 2 or above certification preferred).
* Full, clean driving license is preferred
General Information
The requirements of the business are such that it is necessary to have a high degree of flexibility and therefore some evening and weekend work will be required and some business-related travel to be able to work at our venues and operational sites will be required.
