Why This Role Exists
BizClik is scaling rapidly across technology, infrastructure and digital transformation. As part of this growth, we are expanding our Telco portfolio, which spans digital media, magazines and global live events focused on connectivity, networks, cloud, edge, 5G, fibre and telecoms infrastructure.
The Media Director – Telco exists to lead commercial growth across our global Telco platforms, building high-value partnerships with telecom operators, infrastructure providers, vendors, hyperscalers and consultancies.
This is a senior individual contributor role for a commercially confident, strategic and consultative professional who understands how enterprise and infrastructure buyers engage with media, events and partner marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Growth
* Drive sponsorship, advertising and content-partnership revenue across Telecoms LIVE, Connectivity LIVE and Telco-focused digital publications
* Build, manage and convert a strong personal pipeline of enterprise and infrastructure clients
* Create integrated, multi-channel partnership packages across events, digital media, content and demand generation
* Negotiate and close high-value contracts with senior decision-makers across global telecoms and connectivity markets
Client Partnerships
* Act as the senior commercial lead for telco clients and sponsors
* Build long-term, trust-based relationships with global operators, vendors, infrastructure providers and consultancies
* Represent BizClik and the Telco portfolio at major international telecoms and technology events
* Ensure exceptional delivery, client satisfaction and repeat business
Collaboration and Alignment
* Work closely with Marketing to ensure brand consistency, governance and commercial quality
* Partner with Data and Insight teams to inform audience targeting, pricing and campaign optimisation
* Collaborate with Editorial, Events and Video teams to align storytelling, content and sponsorship opportunities
* Feed market insight and emerging trends into portfolio development and new commercial offerings
Performance and Reporting
* Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
* Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM reporting in Salesforce
* Track campaign performance and communicate value and ROI to clients

Skills and Experience
Essential
* Proven experience in B2B media, events or sponsorship sales at senior level
* Strong track record managing enterprise telco, technology or infrastructure clients
* Experience closing high-value, multi-stakeholder commercial deals
* Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
* Commercially astute and confident using CRM and performance data

* Experience selling into telecoms, connectivity, infrastructure, cloud or data centre markets
* Experience working with global operators, vendors or system integrators
* Exposure to integrated partner marketing and B2B demand generation solutions
