We are seeking a Transport Operations Assistant to join the dynamic team working out of the Widnes site, under the direction of the Operations Manager. This role will be split over alternating weekly shifts, 08:30am

The job role consists of:
Coordinating day-to-day planning with the Operations Manager.
Efficient and effective routing for the fleet to complete all required work.
Assist with daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Provide excellent phone etiquette when communicating with customers to manage their requirements and find solutions.
Support the business by being able to react quickly to day-to-day issues that arise.
Be the first point of contact for driver queries.
Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively.
General office duties.
The successful candidates will have:
Experience of working in a fast-paced transport operation .
Previously undertaken planning and routing of fleet vehicles.
Office experience with strong administrative skills.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Good phone etiquette and communication abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Starting Salary ca. £27-28k DOE
