Clerk of Works job in Manchester, Cheshire
in Manchester, for a growing multidisciplinary consultancy working on new build residential high-rise projects. Our client is looking to speak to candidates with experience in new build high-rise and remedial cladding projects. Offering a salary of up to £50,000 + Car Allowance of £3.5k – £4.5k dependent if chartered + Healthcare + 4.5 Pension match.
Our client provides a multidisciplined service from inception to completion, across residential, commercial, education and healthcare projects. They are now looking for a Clerk of Works to join their site inspection team working on projects in Manchester and within an hour’s radius of Manchester. To be considered you must have experience as a Clerk of Works / Site Inspector with experience in residential high-rise and cladding.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Site Inspection of works from inception to completion on residential high-rise and remedial cladding projects
2. Liaise with contractors and other consultants
3. Report on work progress and standards, creating clear and detailed reports
4. Advise the project manager where necessary through the life-cycle of projects.
Required Skills & Experience
5. High-rise residential experience is essential
6. Consultancy Background or client side for Housing Association
7. Experience with cladding remediation projects
8. MICWCI/ICWCI/LICWCI or working towards
9. Specialist NHBC Level 3 or 4 is an advantage
10. Full UK Driving Licence.
