The Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Saturday Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone seeking part-time weekend work within a professional healthcare setting.
You will support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, efficient, and patient-focused services during our busy Saturday morning session.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with the dispensing of NHS prescriptions
* Supporting the pharmacist and dispenser with workflow management
* Providing excellent customer and patient service
* Handling over-the-counter sales and patient enquiries
* Assisting with stock management and maintaining a tidy dispensary
* Ensuring compliance with SOPs and pharmacy procedures
About You
* Previous pharmacy or retail/customer service experience required
* Organised, punctual, and reliable
* Confident communicating with patients and the public
* Able to work efficiently in a busy community setting
* Positive attitude and strong team player
* Interest in community healthcare is desirable
