About Our Client
Well‑established, business in the Cheshire part of a wider UK group. The business operates across multiple sites and has recently been through a period of change and restructure.They are now looking to appoint a Project Accountant on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract to support the finance function with a number of key improvement initiatives.
Job Description
This is a hands‑on, project‑focused role, working closely with the finance team to strengthen processes, controls and reporting.Key areas of focus include:
3. Reviewing and improving a highly manual invoicing process, with a view to automation
4. Process mapping and documentation across the finance function
5. Supporting IFRS 16 lease work
6. Improving balance sheet reconciliations
7. Supporting and improving month‑end close processes
8. Balance sheet reporting processes
The Successful Applicant
9. Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
10. Supported on finance and process improvement projects
11. Hands on approach and knows what "good looks like" in a finance function
12. Available at short notice
What's on Offer
13. Circa £60,000 salary (potentially up to £65,000)
14. 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
15. Hybrid working - 3 days on site
