Responsibilities
* Work a minimum of 12 hours per week with potential to work in excess of this figure dependent upon centre usage, including continuous evening and weekend work and late-night lock up requirements.
* Access the centre quickly, typically several times per day.
* Carry out general caretaking and cleaning duties, including significant manual handling in preparing the venue for use by user groups.
* Apply good knowledge of health and safety, safe cleaning methods, manual handling and use of mechanical cleaning appliances.
* Work alone and unsupervised as required.

* Experience in general caretaking and cleaning duties.
* Availability and ability to access the centre quickly.
Employer and Work Arrangements
Although employed by Caerphilly County Borough Council, the post holder will be required to work closely with the voluntary management committee which manages the day to day running of the Centre.
