We have a superb opportunity for a patient-centred Staff Nurse to join our hospital as part of our inpatient team, working on the hospital wards. About the role
* You will play an integral part in planning and delivering outstanding patient care, acting as the patient’s advocate and maintaining their dignity. You will ensure that care areas are safe, fit for purpose, and effectively managed.
* Deliver high standards of evidence-based care and maintain the safe custody of all medications and controlled drugs.
* Assist with post-operative patient care, accurately recording data on Compucare, Endobase, and other written notes. Contribute to ward audits, budget management, and documentation.
* Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering their workplace competencies through excellent interpersonal skills.
Skills and experience required
* First-level Registered Nurse
* ILS training or willingness to undertake training
* Basic Phlebotomy skills
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills
* Patient-centred approach
* Honesty, integrity, and ethics in the workplace
