40 hours, working Monday to Friday from 1:30pm-10pm
Job Responsibilities
As an ACPT you’ll play a vital role in the entire dispensing process, where you'll be checking and preparing medication orders with precision. Your focus on accuracy and safety will ensure the proper handling and distribution of pharmaceuticals.
Beyond dispensing prescriptions, you'll have the chance to dive into various responsibilities, including:
1. Keeping accurate administrative records up to date
2. Managing the inventory of pharmaceutical stock and equipment
3. Receiving, storing, and issuing medications and other supplies
4. Monitoring expiration dates and maintaining adequate stock levels
Key Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
5. Be GPhC Registered
6. Be NVQ3 qualified with the additional accuracy checking course in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent
7. Have good numeracy and literacy skills

MediPAC is our facility in Runcorn that has been operating since June 2019 and provides “Hub and Spoke” solution for assembling repeat prescriptions in pharmacy.
We are one of the UKs largest automated pharmacies, using industry-leading technology; our site currently assembles in excess of 1 million repeat prescriptions a month. Our facility assembles over 16 million prescriptions annually for all Rowlands branches in England, Scotland and Wales.
