UK University Admissions Strategy Consultant

Through our tech platform, we connect tutors and mentors to high‑school students seeking admission and scholarships at top universities worldwide.
This is a full‑time, remote position. As a Strategy Consultant, you will work closely with students and their Crimson tutors, mentors and consultants to create and execute individualized admissions roadmaps for UK higher‑education. Your client‑facing responsibilities include driving long‑term progress, offering expert advice on UK university admissions, and guiding students through candidacy building and application processes.
Client Service
* Provide overarching admissions strategies by creating individualized roadmaps and evaluating progress to achieve students’ goals.
* Collaborate with the student’s Crimson team—Education Coordinators, Academic Tutors, Application Consultants, and ECL Mentors—to implement the roadmap.
* Maintain expert knowledge of high‑school curricula, extracurricular and leadership opportunities, summer‑program applications, and standardised‑test planning to give tailored admissions recommendations.
* Use in‑depth knowledge of UK higher‑education institutions to guide students and families toward attainable schools, creating best‑fit lists that maximize acceptance chances.
* Conduct formal consulting sessions with students at least monthly, documenting notes and action items for all stakeholders.
* Communicate regularly with students and families through email and other channels outside scheduled sessions.
Sales and Marketing
* Facilitate development and presentation of marketing materials for seminars and expos in local markets.
* Collaborate with local Sales teams in initial consultations to secure potential client investment and deepen understanding of Crimson’s products.
Product and Resource Development
* Produce and secure buy‑in from the Strategy Consulting team on internal resources and client‑facing materials, ensuring high‑quality service worldwide and fostering continuous professional development.
Success Metrics
* Expertly support students through the application process.
* Meet students at least once a month from program start.
* Achieve the agreed number of students receiving admission to at least one university in the program.
* Receive excellent student feedback, measured via session feedback and NPS.
* Adhere to service protocols with timely client responses.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree from a top UK university; Oxbridge preferred. Advanced degrees are advantageous.
* Extensive experience with UK admissions consulting for the undergraduate level is strongly considered.
* Passion for coaching young adults and an appreciation of global perspectives.
* Superior planning and organisational skills; experience in project management, event coordination, or product management is a plus.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Resilience when working independently under pressure.
* Experience in formal education, coaching, tutoring, or admissions consulting is preferred.
