Business Analyst - Cannock, Staffordshire Working within our Finance Team at our Support Office based at Norton Canes Services on the M6 Toll Road, the role is responsible for providing the business with relevant data and quality analysis in order to enable the Operations team to drive the performance of the business. You will have responsibility for focusing on improving profitability, with an emphasis on the macro drivers of site performance, providing meaningful and value adding reports, and supporting all systems while delivering great internal customer service. Our ideal candiate must have: Experience in multi-site retail or catering environments. Strong Excel & Modelling skills. Qlikview and/or SAP experience preferred, although wider experience of other systems also be beneficial. Used to working with Big Data. Able to hit deadlines when under pressure. Strong organisational skills, including planning and prioritising work. You will be responsible for: Support Budgeting and Forecasting processes partnering with the Operations team, constructively challenging submissions and delivering updates and feedback. Detailed analysis of trends and contribute toward base assumptions. Super user of Qlikview and Excel. Support the business with ad hoc reporting requests using a commercial mindset and ensuring reports are delivered in a timely manner. Support the decision making process including investment appraisals for new opportunities and post completion reviews.
