Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver (Volumetric Concrete Mixer Operator)
Location: Cambridgeshire & surrounding areas
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7am – 5pm (occasional Saturdays/night work as required)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to operate a volumetric on-site concrete mixer. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality concrete to various customer sites across Cambridgeshire and nearby regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely drive and operate a volumetric concrete mixer.
Accurately batch and deliver concrete to customer specifications.
Conduct routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance.
Provide excellent customer service and handle documentation (e.g., delivery receipts).
Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. What We’re Looking For:
Valid HGV Class 2 licence (minimum 2 years’ experience).
Experience in operating heavy machinery (full training provided for mixer operation).
Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
Confidence in vehicle handling and safety awareness.
