Job Opportunity: Approved Electrician (Motherwell)
Location: Motherwell, covering Southern Scotland sites
Contract Type: Initial 3-month contract (ongoing work available until Dec 2026)
Salary: £28.00 per hour (CIS)
Start Date: ASAP
Are you an experienced Electrician looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for an Approved Electrician to join our team, working across various industrial sites in Southern Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Electrical inspection and testing to BS7671 standards
* Emergency lighting and equipment testing
* Remedial works based on inspection findings
* Working to client scopes and safety procedures
* Daily van-based travel directly to client sites
You’ll Need:
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
* City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
* 18th Edition (BS7671)
* AM2 (or equivalent full apprenticeship route)
* ECS Card
* Strong experience with commercial/industrial environments
* A positive attitude and ability to work independently
