Job Description
* Oversee and manage the overall financial operations of the manufacturing unit.
* Provide financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for the unit.
* Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
* Partner with management in the decision-making process by providing financial insights and analysis.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
* Lead cost reduction initiatives within the manufacturing unit.
* Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts.
* Work with the team to develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Manufacturing Unit Controller should have:
* A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
* Experience in a similar role within the industrial and manufacturing industry.
* Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* The ability to work well within a team and lead effectively.
