A high-growth international Fintech is building its tax capability and is looking for a driven Tax Manager to play a key role in shaping how tax is managed globally.
This is not a role that inherits a set of established processes, it’s a genuine opportunity to help design them. You’ll be working closely with senior leadership to create the framework, controls, and reporting needed to support a multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction group as it continues to expand.
What you’ll be doing
1. Oversee and deliver accurate tax compliance across several EMEA entities, including corporate tax and indirect tax filings.
2. Support tax reporting for quarter-end and year-end close in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP.
3. Build and refine governance and control processes that enable efficient, accurate tax management.
4. Develop clear documentation, process manuals, and scalable templates to future-proof the function.
5. Provide commercial tax input on business initiatives, restructurings, and cross-border projects.
6. Stay ahead of legislative changes and assess their impact across the business.
7. Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams, and manage relationships with external advisors.
What we’re looking for
8. 5 years’ experience in tax.
9. Strong understanding of international (EMEA)tax compliance and cross-border principles.
10. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to deliver across multiple jurisdictions and deadlines.
11. A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, someone who enjoys building and improving processes, not just maintaining them.
12. Strong communication skills with confidence to work with senior stakeholders and challenge advisors constructively.
Desirable
13. Experience in financial services, fintech, or technology-led environments.
14. Exposure to transfer pricing, R&D, or indirect tax projects.
15. Interest in tax technology or process automation tools.
This role offers a rare chance to help build a modern, scalable tax function from day one. If you’re looking for an opportunity to make an impact and shape how things are done, rather than simply maintain the status quo, we’d love to hear from you.
