We are seeking a passionate and reliable Chef to join our catering team at a vibrant education site in Romsey. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment with a great work-life balance.
Location: Romsey
Hours: 7 hours per day
Working Pattern:
* Monday - Thursday: 12:00 - 19:00
* Friday: 08:00 - 15:00
* Contract: Term time only (40.6 weeks per year)
* Overtime: Optional, available during non-term periods or special events
What You'll Be Doing:
* Preparing and serving nutritious meals for students and staff
* Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met
* Supporting menu planning and stock control
* Working collaboratively with the catering team to deliver high-quality service
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience as a chef or cook (ideally in an education or similar setting)
* A passion for food and service
* Strong understanding of food safety and allergen management
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
