Freightserve are looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor. The role is working for a privately owned Freight Forwarder based in the Sunbury-on-Thames area.
* Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities and operations
* Ensure efficient processes are in place for the receiving and dispatching of goods
* Track and coordinate the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials
* Ensure warehouse space is utilised effectively and kept clean and organised
* Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate record-keeping
* Arrange warehouse handling equipment and load/unload goods
* Resolve issues regarding shipped orders and liaise with other departments
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and warehouse best practices
* Implement operational warehouse policies and procedures
* Manage, evaluate and report on warehouse productivity
* Manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, evaluation, and discipline
Qualifications
1. Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role
2. Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
3. Knowledge of warehouse operations and health and safety regulations
4. Excellent leadership and people management skills
