Hours: 18.5 hours per week / 52 weeks per year
Contract: Fixed term for 1 year
Working pattern: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Salary: £16,828 Actual / £33,656 FTE Pro Rata

We are excited to offer this opportunity for a dedicated and motivated Health and Social Care Lecturer to join our team.
In this role you will:
•Deliver high quality teaching across Health & Social Care programmes.
•Ensure programmes meet current validation and exam board requirements.
•Assess and/or verify student work, including workplace assessments.
•Maintain course files, verification records and student handbooks.
•Track student progress and maintain accurate assessment records.
•Support the development and implementation of new curriculum initiatives.
•Work with the Head of Department to timetable and room courses.
What you will bring to the role:
•Relevant qualification at least one level above the teaching level (minimum Level 3)
•Level 3 Education & Training Award
•Level 2 English and Maths
•Minimum 2 years' teaching experience
•Experience working in an educational setting
•High achiever attitude

Essential criteria:
•Related qualification at 1 grade higher than teaching level (minimum level 3)
•L3 Education & Training Award
•L2 English and Maths
•Assessor and Interval Verifier Qualifications
•2 years teaching experience
•Experience of working in an educational setting
