Role Overview:
We’re looking for four brilliant University students or graduates to join us for an 8-week paid internship for 30 hours per week as Operations Support
Working within our customer-facing Operations team, you’ll immerse yourself in a project to gain hands-on experience, whilst helping real people and solving real problems
Starting on 30 June, you’ll spend all your working week based at our fantastic office at Hudson Quay in Middlesbrough

What’s in It for You:
* Paid internship at £12.32 per hour (equivalent to £23,767 per annum)
* Holidays: 28 days (pro-rata for the 8-week internship)
* You'll be assigned a mentor for the duration of the placement, and have the chance to join our relief pool at the end of the 8 weeks
* The opportunity to develop an understanding of Thirteen and the housing sector. This will help you to broaden your skillset and give you the opportunity to consider your future career path
What You’ll Do:
* Take the lead on a research project focused on the new customer experience or customer digital inclusion
* Gain experience within our Operations team and understand the diverse needs of our customers
* Analyse current processes and conduct research through speaking to customers and colleagues to gain their feedback and insights
* At the end of your internship, you’ll deliver a presentation and produce a report with your recommendations and best practice. This will directly benefit our business and our community
* Alongside your project work, you’ll be involved with a variety of administration tasks such as auditing, data input and customer calls
About You:
* Currently at university studying towards a degree, or a graduate
* This opportunity would be suited to people who have honed their critical thinking skills as part of their studies. This could be in disciplines such as humanities, psychology and sociology, however we’d welcome applications from any degree background
* As you’ll be taking on a piece of research, we’re looking for people who are analytical, detail-orientated and can provide creative solutions
* Great communication skills are a must as you’ll be speaking to a range of colleagues and customers to assist with your research
* You’ll be organised and able to manage your workload efficiently to produce great outcomes
* Comfortable using a variety of IT systems and tools
